Police are attempting to locate a pair of suspects who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in a Wells Fargo parking lot in Antioch this afternoon. The robbery was reported around 1:45 p.m. in the lot of the Wells Fargo bank located at the corner of 19th and A streets, police said.
The victim, a 27-year-old Stockton man, reported that he was walking through the bank’s parking lot when a man armed with a handgun approached him and demanded cash. The victim handed over some money and the man got into a waiting white sedan driven by a second suspect. The two quickly fled the scene, police said.
The victim was not injured in the robbery and it does not appear that the suspects were targeting the bank itself. Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.
