Three suspects were arrested in Fairfield late Friday night when a man allegedly pulled a gun on an officer during a traffic stop, police said. Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue just before midnight, according to Fairfield police.  During the traffic stop, a passenger in the car — later identified as 23-year-old Joshua Jacla — allegedly tried to pull out a handgun he was carrying, police said.

Officers subdued the suspect and arrested him for multiple firearms charges and resisting arrest. The driver of the vehicle, Jason Wescott, 33, was arrested for a parole violation. The third suspect, 26-year-old Danielle Weitzel, was arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
