Napa County sheriff’s detectives have arrested a Fairfield man in connection with a melee during which two men were stabbed at the Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa Valley in March.  Alexander Hernandez, 18, was arrested for attempted murder Thursday afternoon at his home in the 2000 block of San Luis Street,  sheriff’s Capt. Tracey Stuart said. Two men, 18 and 20, were stabbed during fights at the golf club at 2555 Jameson Canyon Road outside the city of Napa on March 23.

They were taken to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.  Stuart said detectives haven’t said if Hernandez stabbed anyone and they are still reviewing videos of the brawl.  Hernandez is being held without bail in the Napa County jail. Hundreds of people from Vallejo, Fairfield and Vacaville attended the birthday and “Spring Bling” party that was advertised on the Internet, Stuart said.

Police from Vallejo, Solano County, Napa and the California Highway Patrol responded with the sheriff’s office to the fighting around 11 p.m. Friday, Stuart said.
