A Fairfield teen was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of car theft, police said. The victim, who lives on Santa Clara Court, discovered at around 7 a.m. Tuesday that her 1990 Toyota Camry had been stolen. Shortly before 3 p.m. that day a friend of the victim’s told her that her car was parked in the 2900 block of Camrose Avenue and four people were inside the vehicle, according to police.

The victim told Fairfield police who responded and found four people in the car. Two of the car’s occupants ran into the home that the car was parked in front of and the other two were detained near the car, police said. Police said the home that the suspects ran into was the same residence where officers had made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery in 2010.

The suspects inside the home were detained after a California Highway Patrol helicopter was brought in to assist, police said. Officers arrested a 17-year-old Fairfield teen on suspicion of stealing the car and giving false information to officers, police said. Trenton Frolander, 18, of Vallejo was arrested on a parole violation warrant and two other suspects, both 17, were released at the scene, police said.
