* Multiple Robbery Suspects Arrested by Oakland Police

Oakland police made several robbery and burglary arrests this week, police said. On Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., police saw a vehicle driving that was believed to be connected with multiple recent robberies and a shooting. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained a man and woman, arresting the driver for robbery and assault. Police believe the man is responsible for multiple recent robberies in Oakland.

On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. officers responded to the 2600 block of 19th Avenue on reports of a burglary in the area.  They found to men who were suspected of being involved in the burglary. While investigating, they found items that had been stolen from the residence, and arrested the two men.  On Sunday at 7:10 p.m., police responded to a citizen following a robbery suspect near Foothill Boulevard and Fruitvale Avenue.  Officers detained the man who was positively identified as a robbery suspect. Police arrested the man for suspicion of robbery.
