A 34-year-old Soledad man was arrested by Monterey County sheriff’s deputies Friday on suspicion of vehicle burglary in the Toro Park area, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to the park area in response to a report of an in-progress vehicle burglary, and they located a red Ford F-150 matching a description provided by a witness. Investigating the vehicle and its occupant, deputies located several valuables from various vehicle burglaries of victims residing in the Toro Park area. Jose Melchor Gonzales was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.
