Los Angeles police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a strong-armed robber who held up a local gas station using force, fear, and a simulated handgun.

On January 29, 2012, just after 10 p.m., the suspect, a White male or light-skinned Hispanic, went into a gas station in the 5300 block of South Huntington Drive. He walked behind the counter and grabbed an unsuspecting clerk from behind and demanded money from the cash drawer. In fear for their life, the victim complied with the demand. The suspect left the store and drove off in a late-90s dark colored sedan.
