Three men were found to be in possession of marijuana, cocaine and a stolen gun during a traffic stop in Fairfield on Tuesday, police said. The car, a Chevy Tahoe, was pulled over for a traffic violation near West Texas Street and First Street at about 7:30 p.m. When officers approached the SUV, they smelled marijuana and asked the driver and the front passenger to step out of the car, police said.
The passenger, identified by police as Alejandro Jimenez, 18, of Vallejo, was patted down in a weapons search, and officers found a loaded Glock .45-calilber handgun in his waistband and several baggies of cocaine in his pockets, according to police.The officers searched the car and found more than an ounce of marijuana, over an ounce of cocaine and another loaded gun that had been reported stolen out of Vallejo, police said.
Police identified the driver and the second passenger as Samuel Guzman, 22, and Orlando Vidana, 23, both Fairfield residents. All three men were arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale, marijuana for sale, loaded firearms and a stolen firearm.
