A Santa Rosa man with four DUI convictions and 10 license suspensions since 2002 was arrested on suspicion of DUI Thursday night, a California Highway Patrol officer said. CHP Officer Ron Benfer responded at around 10:20 p.m. to a call about a possible DUI driver who was detained by a Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputy on state Highway 116 at Redwood Drive in Cotati, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.
Glenn Jay Hunt, 48, of Santa Rosa, the driver of a Chevrolet truck, appeared intoxicated, Sloat said.Benfer conducted a DUI evaluation and a records check revealed Hunt’s previous DUI and license suspensions, Sloat said.Hunt was booked into the Sonoma County jail for felony DUI and driving on a suspended license. His vehicle was impounded for 30 days, Sloat said.
