* San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood shooting near Sunnydale Avenue and Hahn Street

A 22-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Wednesday night, police said. Officers responding to a ShotSpotter activation near Sunnydale Avenue and Hahn Street at 8:54 p.m. found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police.

The victim told officers that four suspects in a small yellow Toyota shot at him then drove away, police said. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening. Neither the suspects nor their vehicle had been found as of this morning.
