* San Francisco gang-related shooting near 15th and Capp streets

A teenager was injured in a suspected gang-related shooting in San Francisco’s Mission District early Saturday morning, police said. The shooting was reported around 2 a.m. near 15th and Capp streets. The 19-year-old victim was approached by two suspects who asked if he “claimed” a gang, according to police.

When the victim said he didn’t claim anything, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg, police said.The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police. The suspects fled after the shooting and have not been found.
