South San Francisco police are searching for a woman suspected of abducting her 5-year-old daughter. Zadoka Perez shares joint custody with the girl’s father and was visiting his home in the 500 block of Baden Avenue on Sunday when she left with his car and their child, police said. Police said the girl’s father delayed reporting the abduction until Monday morning because he was trying to gain Perez’s cooperation on his own.
Detectives are concerned for the girl’s welfare because of suicidal threats Perez has made in the past, police said. South San Francisco police have alerted law enforcement agencies throughout the state and said they believe the mother and daughter may be in the Los Angeles area. The car Perez drove away in is a gray 2011 Honda Accord coupe with the license No. 6SCZ277.
