Police are still looking for a motorist who shot at another driver in a road rage incident in Richmond on Monday night that wounded an 8-year-old boy.The boy, a Richmond resident, was riding in a car with his family on Interstate Highway 80 around 10:30 p.m. when his father inadvertently cut off another motorist near the Hilltop Drive exit, Lt. The driver who was cut off trailed the family’s car to the 3000 block of Birmingham Drive, then fired several rounds into the vehicle, striking the boy. The boy’s parents and sibling were not injured in the shooting. A ShotSpotter activation alerted police to the incident, but the shooter was not located, French said.
