* Woman Allegedly Run Over by Husband After Argument in Windsor

A Windsor woman on Friday was run over by a vehicle driven by her husband after the couple got into an argument, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Windsor police and fire personnel responded to a report of an injury crash on Mallory Avenue near Jessica Drive at about 2:55 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

An initial investigation revealed the husband and wife had been arguing inside their vehicle. After the husband pulled over to the curb to let his wife out, he drove forward, and his wife, who had fallen to the ground, was struck in the head by the car, according to the sheriff’s office. She suffered serious head injuries and was taken to a hospital. An investigation is under way to determine if the victim fell or was struck intentionally. No arrests have been made, and the names of the couple are being withheld.
