Two men armed with handguns held up a Scotts Valley gas station on Monday evening, police said. The robbery was reported at 7:05 p.m. at the Scotts Valley Gas & Mart at 201 Mt. Hermon Road. The on-duty attendant told police that two men entered the store, drew their weapons and demanded money.

The attendant complied and watched them leave on foot with cash and other items, heading west toward the Whispering Pines Laundromat on Whispering Pines Drive, police said. The suspects are described as Hispanic men between the ages of 19 and 31. They both stand between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall, and were wearing black hoodies with dark bandanas covering their faces, along with leather gloves and black pants, police said.
