One victim was critically injured in a shooting in downtown Oakland early this morning and it is unclear whether he will survive, police said. Police responded to reports that someone had been shot near the corner of 14th Street and Webster Street at 3:34 a.m. Responding officers found a male victim lying in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the back. He was not moving when he was found, police said. The victim was transported to a local hospital in very serious condition and may not survive, police said.
