Police are searching for vandals who tagged a school and several homes with gang signs and ethnic slurs in Petaluma this weekend. Officers found graffiti in 32 separate locations at Kenilworth Junior High School, located at 800 Riesling Road, as well as at a nearby home and at six homes on the city’s east side, according to Petaluma police.

Police said the vandalism at Kenilworth Junior High included gang symbols and ethnic and gender slurs referring to the school’s teachers. School district officials estimate repairs will cost around $3,000. Police believe the vandalism occurred between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. They are asking anyone with information to call Petaluma police Officer Ryan DeBaeke at (707) 781-1244.
