A 27-year-old man suspected of robbing an eyewear store in San Anselmo Friday night was arrested by police, according to the Police Department. At about 7 p.m., officers responded to a tripped burglar alarm at Sunglass City, located at 623 San Anselmo Ave., where the burglar had forced entry to the business, activating the alarm.
Upon assessing the aftermath, store representatives determined that the burglar has made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Video surveillance footage led police to arrest Nicolas Pierre Josephs, of San Anselmo, on suspicion of burglary. Josephs was taken into custody without incident at his home, and he was booked at Marin County Jail.
