Eastridge Stabbing, San Jose Police Investigating

San José police are currently investigating a double stabbing at the Eastridge Shopping Mall, 2200 Eastridge Loop, in San José.  Around 7:28 p.m., San José police received reports of an individual who had been stabbed while inside the mall.  Officers arrived and located the male victim suffering from at least one stab wound.  Officers also located a second male victim suffering from at least one stab wound.

Both victims are believed to be juveniles and were taken to a local hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.  It is believed the victims were attacked by three males who fled the scene on foot.  Officers have detained three possible suspects at the mall.  The mall was closed and evacuated in order to allow investigating officers to identify and process the crime scene, which may include different parts of the mall.

The motive is unknown and remains under investigation.  No further details are being released at this time.
