A man was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Tuesday night, police said today. The shooting was reported at 9:11 p.m. in the first block of Osceola Lane. The 30-year-old victim, identified by the medical examiner’s office as Derek Hall, was standing outside when two suspects approached and opened fire, police spokesman Sgt. Daryl Fong said.

Hall was struck several times by the gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.  The suspects, described as males wearing black hooded sweatshirts, fled and have not been found, according to police.
