* Two Arrested After CHP Chase from Oakland to Emeryville

A California Highway Patrol chase that started in Oakland early this morning ended near Emeryville about 30 minutes later, according to the CHP. An officer tried to pull a car over for a license plate violation around 1:40 a.m., but the driver did not yield, and a pursuit began at International Boulevard and 31st Avenue, according to the CHP.
The chase continued onto Interstate Highway 80 and ended a half-hour later near Emeryville when the CHP used a spike strip to stop the car. Two suspects were taken into custody, according to the CHP. No injuries were reported.
