A 56-year-old man was shot multiple times Friday in Antioch, police said. Officers arrived in the area of Spanos Street and Magnolia Way after receiving reports of shots fired.

Officers found an Antioch man with gunshot wounds in an alleyway behind the apartments in the 2200 block of Spanos Street, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he is in critical condition. The shooting is under investigation
