Three juveniles were nabbed by police Tuesday afternoon after they allegedly to break into a home in Pinole, police said. At 3:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Marlesta Road in response to a report of a suspected burglary in progress. Police said three juveniles, ages 12 and 13, had knocked on the front door of a woman’s home and when no one responded, they headed to the
backyard.

Officers arrived and detained the trio in the yard. They discovered a broken rear window where police believe the youths had attempted to enter the home, police said.  Two of the juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of burglary and probation violation. The third was released to a parent pending prosecution, police said.
