A man whose body was found this morning near the railroad tracks in unincorporated Hayward is believed to have been the victim of a homicide, a sheriff’s spokesman said. The body was discovered near Hampton Road and Western Boulevard just after 7:30 a.m., Alameda County sheriff’s Sgt. J.D. Nelson said. The victim has not been identified, and it is not clear how he died, Nelson said.
Investigators are also trying to determine if the man died at that location or was brought there
