The US Marshal’s Office and the Toledo Police Department are currently seeking Sonia Watson, after she allegedly tried to rob a local tax service business with a curling iron.
According to Toledo police detectives, Watson and her son entered Liberty Tax service with their faces covered.
When they saw that there still customers inside the business, they lowered their masks and waited for customers to leave.
Once the customers left the business, Watson and her son allegedly covered their faces again and attempted to rob the clerks with a curling iron.
The employees refused to give the suspects any money and threw a chair at them. Watson and her son then grabbed a cash drawer fled the scene.
Police were able to identify Watson because she had recently been to the business to have her tax return prepared.
