A Redwood City elementary school teacher was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and battery on school property, police said today. Redwood City police arrested Alexia Aliki Bogdis, 44, of Millbrae, who taught developmentally disabled or autistic children at Roosevelt Elementary School.

Police said that the incident involved two 4-year-old male students, but police did not provide information about when the incident occurred.  According to school district documents, Bogdis had tenured status and was hired by the Redwood City School District in August 2006.  Her name was still listed in the school’s online directory as of this morning.
