Three alleged gang members were arrested at a Moss Landing cemetery Wednesday evening on suspicion of violating their probation by associating with each other, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies on patrol noticed eight male gang members standing at the grave of a deceased friend at the Moss Landing Cemetery around 7:30 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

Three of them, all Castroville residents, were violating the terms of their probation by associating with other alleged gang members,sheriff’s officials said. Rigoberto Torres, 19, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, being a minor in possession of alcohol and violating post-release community supervision terms, according to the sheriff’s office. Twenty-year-old Vincent Castro Jacquez was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation.A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of violating his juvenile probation terms. He was released to his mother.
