Investigators are trying to identify three people who robbed a San Carlos video game store at gunpoint on Monday night, according to the San Mateo Sheriff’s Office. The robbery was reported around 8:20 p.m. at the GameStop at 1135 Industrial Road.
The clerk told investigators that three suspects had entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded cash. The suspects left the business with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot, according to the sheriff’s office, which provides police services for San Carlos.The suspects are described as black men about 25 to 30 years old. Two were wearing black jackets, and the third was wearing a black or brown jacket.
The first was described as about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds; the second as 6 feet tall and 235 pounds; and the third as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds.The same store was robbed in August. However, the suspect in that case is in custody and there is no evidence to suggest there is a connection between the two robberies, sheriff’s officials said.
