* Man Fleeing Gunfire in Richmond Collapses From Asthma Attack

A Richmond man who was being shot at outside of his house on Sunday night suffered an asthma attack as he tried to flee, police said. The shooting was reported shortly after 8 p.m. in the 2800 block of Wiswall Drive, police said. The victim, a 26-year-old man, was found semi-conscious and bleeding from the mouth when police arrived.

He told investigators that someone had started shooting at him as he was leaving his house. As he fled, he suffered an asthma attack and collapsed, police said. The shooter had fired at him several times, but the victim was not hit by the gunfire, according to police.
