A male juvenile was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in Oakland Wednesday evening, police said. The shooting was reported at 7:57 p.m. in the first block of Fairmount Avenue. The youth was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. No information was available on a motive in the shooting or about possible suspects, according to police.
