A man found dead and stuffed in the truck of a car in Moss Landing on New Year’s Day died from a gunshot wound, according to autopsy results released Tuesday. The body of 23-year-old Felipe Hernandez Bravo, Jr., of Los Banos was found by California State Parks officers at around 9:30 a.m. in an abandoned vehicle parked on Potrero Road near a bridge over Old Salinas River. Monterey County sheriff’s deputies called to investigate were initially unsure whether Bravo was murdered, but the coroner’s office confirmed that Bravo had been shot and killed.
