A man suspected of breaking into multiple vehicles was arrested in San Rafael on Saturday morning, police said.
Officers responded to a call reporting someone smashing the window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Ross Street at about 7:50 a.m., according to San Rafael police.

The witness provided a detailed description of the suspected thief, who fled the area on a bike and was found by police on B Street, police said. The suspect was later identified as Greg Corser. An iPod that was taken from the vehicle on Ross Street was found in Corser’s possession, police said.

Officers also found a camera that had been stolen from a vehicle on Oak Street. Corser is also a suspect in a vehicle break-in in Santa Rosa. He was arrested and booked into Marin County for two counts of auto burglary, possession of stolen property, carrying a concealed dagger, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and identity theft. His bail was set at $50,000.
