Police in Foster City have concluded a mysterious death discovered Friday afternoon was a homicide, police said.Officers responded to a report of a body found inside a residence on the 600 block of Waterbury Lane shortly after 3 p.m. Police were initially unable to determine the cause of the man’s death, declaring it to be suspicious.
Investigators responded to the crime scene and after several hours concluded the man had died in a homicide. Investigators remained in the home throughout the night collecting evidence. The homicide is Foster City’s first since January 2006, when Brandon Hepponstall was killed in his home on Lurline Drive, police said.
