A man was shot in an officer-involved shooting late Thursday night in East San Jose. He died about 45 minutes after the shooting, police said. Around 11:28 p.m. officers attempted to contact a man in the area of Seaview Drive and Bermuda Way. While contacting the man, the suspect displayed threatening behavior and at least one officer fired in self-defense, according to police. The suspect was hit by gunfire and taken to Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 12:13 a.m. this morning, police said. More information about the shooting is expected to be released later today, police said.
