The Solano County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a missing girl at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, he said. That information was based on a voicemail Almanza left on a family member’s cell phone. Almanza said she was being held hostage by numerous male suspects, Faulkner said. The suspected abduction apparently happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to a statewide Amber Alert issued today by the California Highway Patrol.

Almanza was last seen driving a navy blue Oldsmobile Silhouette and was possibly was being held against her will with three other juvenile females by multiple male suspects, according to the Amber Alert. Suisun City police were expected to release more information about the case this afternoon, Faulkner said.
