A man was critically injured in a stabbing in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Monday night, police said. The stabbing was reported at about 9:30 p.m. near Turk and Hyde streets. The 50-year-old victim let a woman use his cellphone, and when he asked for it back, she stabbed him in the chest, according to police.The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening. The suspect, described only as a woman in her 20s, fled and had not been found as of this morning, police said.
