Two men were arrested Wednesday at a home in Watsonville where more than 130 pounds of marijuana and $67,000 in cash were seized, Santa Cruz County sheriff’s officials said Friday. The drug bust took place at a home in the 600 block of Rodriguez Street, according to the sheriff’s office. Karl March, a 30-year-old from Watsonville, and Lloyd Harmon, 25, of Santa Cruz, were arrested at the home.
March and Harmon were both arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and cultivation of marijuana, sheriff’s officials said. Along with the marijuana and cash, deputies also found commercial-grade scales and packaging materials at the home. Harmon has since posted bail and been released while March remains in county jail in lieu of $105,000 bail, according to the sheriff’s office.
