An Antioch man has been charged with drunk driving in connection with a hit-and-run in which a 15-year-old girl was seriously injured, police said today. The girl was struck by a white Ford pickup truck around 5:45 p.m. Thursday while walking in the southbound lanes of Lone Tree Way near Clearbrook Drive, according to police. She is being treated for significant injuries, but is currently expected to survive, police said.

Antioch resident Jose Sandoval, 60, allegedly fled the scene after the accident and went home, where he left a truck and received a ride to a local hotel.Police found him at the hotel and arrested him on suspicion of felony drunk driving and felony hit and run. The accident remains under investigation.
