Two men were robbed and had their vehicle vandalized in broad daylight on a busy thoroughfare in San Francisco on Tuesday morning, police said. The robbery was reported at about 10:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of Van Ness Avenue. As the victims, ages 24 and 54, were entering their vehicle, a group of suspects approached and smashed a car window and punctured one of the vehicle’s tires, according to police.

The suspects demanded that the victims hand over a bag containing jewelry and cash, and the victims complied, police said. The suspects fled and had not been found as of this morning. The victims were not injured in the robbery.
