A suspected gang member was arrested after allegedly being found with drugs and a sawed-off shotgun in the unincorporated city of Castroville in Monterey County, according to sheriff’s deputies. The suspect, Christian Guzman, 22, was pulled over by deputies during a traffic stop at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.
During the stop, they allegedly found the gun and methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe. Guzman was wearing clothing with the Norteno street gang indicia and had clothing with Norteno street gang indicia in his black Honda Accord, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
