* Three Burglars Caught in the Act Escape into Canyon in Burlingame

Burlingame police are searching for three suspects who were interrupted while attempting to break into a house this morning. Police responded to a report of suspicious subjects around a residence on the 2900 block of Arguello Drive shortly before 9:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they encountered three suspects in the process of burglarizing a home, according to police. The three fled on foot into the nearby Mills Canyon Park.
Despite a search involving Millbrae police, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and a California Highway Patrol aircraft, the suspects could not be located. The search was called off around 12:30 p.m. The suspects are described as three white men in their 20s, all with brown crew cut hair and thin builds.
The first suspect was around 6 feet 4 inches tall and wearing an unknown colored shirt and jeans, the second was around 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a black hoodie and jeans and the third was around 5 feet 11 inches tall and wearing a black and brown flannel shirt and blue jeans.
