Police arrested a 43-year-old Vacaville Unified School District administrator Wednesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography, a police sergeant said today. Steven Shields was arrested at his workplace in Vacaville Wednesday afternoon after detectives served a search warrant at his residence on the 100 block of Mount Everest Court, Sgt. Tom Cashion said.
He was booked into the Contra Costa County detention facility in Martinez, where he was later released on $20,000 bail. A court date is pending.
