* Pinole Police Working to Identify Nail Salon Robbery Suspects

Police are trying to identify two men who robbed a Pinole nail salon at gunpoint on Saturday evening, making off with cash and three customers’ purses. The two men entered the nail salon in the 600 block of San Pablo Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, police said. One brandished a handgun while the other grabbed cash from the register. After the robbery, the pair ran from the salon toward unincorporated San Pablo, police said.

The first suspect — who was armed with the gun — is described as a black man around 30 years old, roughly 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds.  Witnesses described the second suspect as a black man between 20 and 25 years old who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
