Napa police have arrested four men in connection with an alleged gang-related shooting on Friday evening. Prior to the shooting, the men had followed the victim, 21-year-old Luis Ochoa, to his home in the 2300 block of Yajome Street in Napa in a Honda, police Lt. Debbie Peecook said.
When Ochoa got out of his car to confront the men around 6:20 p.m., one of the rear passengers, identified by police as Guadalupe Olguin, got out of the car and shot Ochoa in the torso, Peecook said. Police stopped the Honda in the area of Silverado Trail north of Third Street, Peecook said. They found Olguin in possession of a handgun and located a substance believed to be cocaine in the Honda, Peecook said.
Police arrested Olguin, 19, Ignacio Antonio Castro, 18, Jordan Ryan Kite, 18, all of Napa, and Stevie Ray Bueno, 20, of Calistoga, on suspicion of attempted murder, being a street gang member and conspiracy, Peecook said. Ochoa was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center after the shooting. He was in critical condition Friday, Peecook said. An update of his condition was not available this morning.
