Mexican President Calderon states that the record number of US deportation of convicted criminals is fueling violence in Mexican border cities. The US has deported over over 400,000 people this year including over 2,000 convicted murderers.

It is in our best interest to coordinate with Mexico on deportations of criminals. These serious criminals pose a threat to us again when they sneak back across the border. If we tell the Mexican authorities who are the serious criminals, Mexico can jail them so they don’t pose a threat to us again.
