* Shelby Barnes Identified as Body Found on Glenside Court in Concord

Police have identified a woman whose body was found inside of a vacant Concord home Tuesday as 21-year-old Concord resident Shelby Barnes. Officers found Barnes’ body inside the home in the 2900 block of Glenside Court on Tuesday afternoon during a security check around the property. Detectives in Concord are investigating the death as a homicide and are following up on leads in the investigation today.
