A man who was stabbed to death in San Jose on Sunday has been identified by police as Luis Diaz. Diaz, 22, of San Jose, was found unconscious on a sidewalk with at least one stab wound in the 200 block of West Virginia Street. He was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 2:33 a.m. Officers found Diaz around 1:40 a.m. after responding to a report of a fight in the area of South Almaden Avenue and Union Street. They believe the fight is related to the stabbing, but have not identified any suspects in the stabbing or determined a motive.
