Officers responded to the community college campus at 3300 College Drive after receiving a report of an assault at about 8:30 p.m., according to the San Bruno Police Department. The female victim told police she was alone in a classroom when a man entered the room and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect fled the room following the assault, police said.  The assailant was described as a white male between 25 and 30 years old with an athletic build and a tattoo or scar on his neck. He was around 5 feet 11 inches tall, police said. Students and faculty members have been informed of the assault by the San Mateo County Community College District.
