Police found a female body at a vacant Concord home Tuesday afternoon, a Concord police lieutenant said. The body was found in the 2900 block of Glenside Court after officers were on a security check at the house around 2:30 p.m., Concord police Lt. Steve Dyer said. The means and manner of the death have yet to be determined. Detectives are investigating the suspicious death as a homicide and following up on several leads, Dyer said. More information about the apparent homicide is expected to be released, Dyer said.
