* Andrey Neshcheret and Jack Young arrested in connection with an armed robbery outside a McDonald’s on Camino Tassajara

Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that happened outside of a Danville restaurant Thursday. A victim was robbed at about 9 p.m. Thursday when he was waiting to meet someone who said they had wanted to buy his iPhone 4 outside a McDonald’s on Camino Tassajara.

When the buyer arrived, he allegedly pulled out a knife, robbed the victim and fled. The victim called police, but officers were unable to locate the suspect. Detective and patrol officers later determined two suspects were responsible for the crime. On Friday evening, police arrested Andrey Neshcheret, 23, and Jack Young, 18.

Both men are Danville residents.Neshcheret was booked on suspicion of robbery and brandishing a deadly weapon. Young was booked for robbery. Both are being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on $50,000 bail.
